Florida A&M is Florida’s college of agricultural and mechanical studies. Their mission statement is to be “dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, resolution of complex issues and the empowerment of citizens and communities.” They carry these principles out in every aspect of their institution and are one of the leading colleges for African Americans to graduate with a Bachelor’s of science degree. Along with their undergraduate programs, they offer a multitude of PhD, masters and doctoral programs to further the education of their students and let them continue their studies as a dedicated Rattler!

  • FAMU Dining Services
  • Food Court
    The Student Services Building is also home to the Food Court. Open Sunday through Friday, the Food Court features AFC Sushi, Pizza Express and the Chef’s Table, along with national brands Tropical Smoothie Café and Wingstop
  • Orange Room
    Located in the Commons near the Set, between Lee Hall and Coleman Library, the Orange Room is home to student favorites Chick-fil-A and the Rattler’s Grille, which is known for its breakfast offerings, wide range of flavorful and creative burgers and other student favorites like quesadillas, mozzarellas sticks and wings!
  • Rattler’s Nest
    Looking to grab a quick breakfast or lunch, then look no further than the Rattler’s Nest, featuring freshly grilled sandwiches, salad bar and daily hot entrees. It’s located on on the ground floor of the Foote Hilyer Building.
  • Coleman Library
    Whether you’re in between classes or research stop by Coleman Library where we proudly serve a full line of Starbucks beverages, including hot and cold coffee, espresso, latte, Frappuccinos and seasonal favorites. We also serve breakfast sandwiches, pastries, snacks, and Up for Grabs items, lunch wraps and deli sandwiches
  • President’s Dining Room
    Offering a sit-down, upscale dining experience for faculty, staff, and students, the President’s Dining Room features a daily hot entree, scratch made soup, specialty burgers, chicken sandwiches and salads, plus homemade desserts.
  • The Wandering Chef Food Truck
    Our newest dining concept arrived on campus in the fall of 2016. The student-driven menu is a rotation of Asian and Mexican cuisine including crispy vegetable spring rolls, chow mein, tacos and burritos.
